Steinbach Arts Council is proud to present the exhibit “Out & About” by photographer Kevin Friesen from November 9 to January 6 at the Hall Gallery in the Steinbach Cultural Arts Centre. Years later he purchased his first digital, a Pentax point and shoot, and more recently, a Nikon D50. Shortly after graduating from High School, in 1981, he bought his first camera, a Pentax K1000, and began to learn more about the art of painting with light. While enjoying photography since his early teens, he only became really interested when taking a grade 12 photography class with Jim Peters. I take photography in school this year and I am wondering what is best to use, the Nikon Coolpix P90 or X90 Pentax Optio.
Even though I have 2 DSLR, I still use my old Optio and get great results from it. Never had any problems from it also did not have. Also well built.

I have been a Photographer for more than 30 years and a Pentax SLR User for more than 20 years. Frankly, I am afraid that the prices are just too high to be competitive, especially for the (one and only one) basic kit.
