The Sony NEX-5N is a subtle but inspired evolution of the NEX-5, keeping the best and addressing the worst of its predecessor. This isn't a huge timesaver in general operation as the physical buttons and dial are generally quicker to use, but it came into its element when moving the spot focus point or defining a moving subject to track. It retains its predecessor's wealth of advanced shooting modes, including automatic panorama stitching in both 2D and 3D, automatic HDR, combining of multiple exposures to reduce noise and lots of creative effects. Its image quality was a true match for an SLR's, and its slim, stylish design, superb videos and innovative shooting modes added up to an outstanding package. The Sony NEX-5 was our favourite camera of 2010. The physical controls remain fairly scant but it's possible to define up to seven functions for quick access. Read more of this article »

Nokia N8 smartphone review
However one area that really put me off on Androids was the poor battery life, and lackluster camera (though things have moved on now on these areas). The review of the Nokia N8 is entirely based on my personal experience Symbian phone ownership, and recent experiences with Android phones/tablets and Apple devices. However the Android experience via an Sony Ericsson X10 (yes not the best, but still very much a decent example, specially on the camera end for Android at that time), highlighted how much more smarter the Android and IPhone devices had grown. The transition from Nokia also came after i switched from the E-series devices to the N97 mini, which sadly showed how little the Nokia devices had evolved over the years, and in many ways the phone was inferior to the older models both in... After years of Nokia phone ownership, and the latter part being all Symbian phones I did my switch to Android....
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ5K 6MP Digital Camera with 6x Image Stabilized Zoom (Black) Review

First is the image stablizer which does work and worked well. What they say is true, if you blow up these images taken with that mode, there will be a lot of noise and almost unuseable. One element of this camera which have been slammed dunk by many of the on-line and magazine critics is the "high sensitivity" mode which artifically boost up the ISO up to 1600 if needed. For a camera of this price and size, there are several unbeatable features that simply cannot be ignored. However, you really have to blow it up, poster size almost for that to happened....
