I have a Sony FX7 and I'm trying to get a more film-like look. I've read that a variety of filters can help this... but on a tight budget, which are best?

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a "film look". As long as exposure is correct, film and digital should look unsuspiciously similar. If, however, you are referring to Lomography where image quality is far from decent, here's a link.
