Pentax k-x or D90? i know they are different , but why?
Before anyone answers this saying the d90 is in a different category of dslrs and is better just because it is considered a more advanced dslr yada yada yada...

Another issue is age - the Kx is a much newer model than the D90. The latter started out costing almost twice as much as it does now after all, it's near the end of its lifecycle.

The D90 is built better, has a faster burst mode, better autofocus, and its ergonomics and control layout appeals more to advanced-level users rather than absolute beginners as it is with the k-x.

Basically the D90 is considered to be a Semi Pro model while the Kx is an entry level. This means that the overall construction of the D90 will be better and it will have more features overall. The D90 is meant to take some abuse.
