I'll be heading out to Chinatown with a few friends to give it a thorough go, so there'll be a more detailed report soon, most likely after I return the camera back to CRC. a $12,000 camera need not be flawless, but it better not be as annoying as a Nikon Coolpix or have similar image quality. The M9 is neither, but there are annoyances that are grating and unexpected from a camera in this class, even though the image quality so far is exemplary, and shows you exactly how well (or not) the lens you're using performs.
