Two Great Combat Optics

The US Army had already moved to a non magnifying optic with the Aimpoint CompM2, later replaced by the Aimpoint CompM4S. The M150 rifle combat optic is the US Army adaptation of the US Marine Corps AN/PVQ-31B (civilian model TA31RCO-M4CP). Both the red chevron aiming mark and the 1-300 meter stadia are dual illuminated by fiber-optics and a tritium lamp. It has horizontal bars that are the width of a silhoutte target at each range and horizontal bars at 0. The US Army did not go the same route as the USMC in issuing rifle and carbine specific versions, instead opting for one version for the M4, M16A2, M16A4 and M249 with long and short barrels. To mount on an M16A2 carry handle you remove the sight from its TA51 twin thumbscrew mount. The US Army was slow in adopting a magnifying sight as standard on their rifles. Joe Terranova said any buyout would be a difficult transaction because Alibaba accounts for 40% of Yahoo's value and Jack Ma, the chairman of Alibaba, would not let the buyout happen. Kara Swisher, co-executive editor of All Things Digital, said she doubted whether Microsoft was going to bid for Yahoo. He said Microsoft is deficient in so many areas, including mobile, and needs to focus on the enterprise space and not consumers. Ken Sena, of Evercore Partners, estimated the value of Yahoo. Brent Thill, a UBS analyst, said Microsoft would be better off focusing on a long list of things it needs to address before going after Yahoo. But she said a lot of people are looking at it, including private equity firms and hedge funds. at $18, with Alibaba accounting for $12 of the company's value. Karen Finerman said she preferred Microsoft not buy Yahoo.
